Kodo millet is a water stress annual herb that is widely cultivated in India, Nepal, Vietnam, the Philippines, Indonesia, and West Africa. Kodo millet grass can grow up to four feet tall, with a thin leaf that measures 20 to 40 cm in length and requires very little water to grow.
The seeds are oval in shape, 1.5mm wide and 2mm long, and vary in colour from light brown to dark grey when cultivated.Cow grass, rice grass, ditch millet, and Indian cow grass are some other names for kodo millet.
